Lazy port, boring gameplay

Elven Chronicles isnt a terrible game but it is a rather lazy port of an old Java/J2ME mobile game. The visuals arent that great, the turn-based battles are repetitive (esp. due to the handful of different enemies), and the MIDI music is monotonous so thankfully you can turn it off to play your own music via iPod library. Elven Chronicles might appeal to RPG fanatics who simply like to play RPGs whether good or bad but w/so many other offerings in the App Store, why settle for less?
